When you’re visiting Maine during any of the four seasons, you’re bound to experience nature at its best. As such there are many opportunities right at Twin Hearts Farm Bed & Breakfast for you to enjoy.
At night and on some of the “off” days the inn offers additional opportunities for our guests: a game room with a regulation sized pool table and dart board (Steve may offer to play pool with anyone showing interest!) A library filled with books of all genres awaits your inspection and you are welcome to borrow books for reading during your stay or you may browse the collection of movies available in VCR or DVD format and watch on the large screened TV in the guest living room. Playing cards for cribbage or any other card games, a backgammon board and other select games and puzzles are also available to you.
During Maine’s delightful weather the expansive lawn plays host to volleyball, corn hole, croquet, and a soon-to-be created horse shoe pit. Throughout winter there are miles of connected bushwhacking trails and other slightly groomed trails, that connect to snowmobile trail Highway 89, once Brown’s Pond is crossed–hours of fun for the snow shoe or cross country ski enthusiast. The B&B sits adjacent to a Forever Wild 100-acre property conserved by Joanne and her parents in the mid 1990’s with Presumpscot Regional Land Trust. All are encouraged to check it out!
Whether you are just enjoying the natural beauty from the deck, playing spirited lawn games or enjoying the vigorous seasonal sports across the land, you will always be able to look forward to a hot cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa accompanied by our treat of the day as you unwind.
With advance notice of your stay, guests will be provided with a pass allowing entrance and use of the Town of Sebago’s resident only beach (about five miles south of the inn) on Sebago Lake. Be sure to inquire about this if you are considering a visit to Sebago Lake during your stay in the area. Two miles up the road on Hancock Pond there is a State of Maine Beach available for swimming and picnicking.
